New Zealand Schools Scholarships (NZSS) 2026

56 New Zealand Schools Scholarships are available for middle or high school students. Each scholarship provides a 50% subsidy on the full-year school tuition fees [four terms] of the first year of study in New Zealand. Scholars must study in New Zealand for a minimum of one school year (40 weeks/4 terms - not including holidays), commencing in Term 3 in July 2026.

Eligibility:

To apply, you must:

Currently be in Grade 8, 9, or 10 in a Vietnamese middle school or high school, and
Be a legal citizen of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and
Be aged between 13 and 16 years at the time of application, and
Meet the requirements for GPA and English capability, and
Be able to take up the New Zealand Schools Scholarship for a minimum of one school year (4 terms), commencing in July 2026

Value of the Award:

This award provides a scholarship to the value of 50% of tuition fees for the first year of study.
Applicants award must have GPA 8.0 or above, and English proficiency level equivalent to IELTS 5.0.
